Overview:

CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT - PART-TIME and PRN POSITIONS AVAILABLE

C.N.A - Let Our Lady of Victory be your next exciting opportunity! We are looking for compassionate certified nursing assistants to join our team. This position provides personal care assistance for a small group of Sisters with various skill levels, and works closely with the registered nurse communicating any changes related to well-being.

The Franciscan Sisters of Chicago is an exceptional congregation in Lemont, Il of women that share the commitment of daily prayer and serving the needy along with the joys and sorrows of life in community. We do this by ministering in the fields of senior housing, continuing care retirement communities, pastoral care, education and social services. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

-Ability to provide personal care assistance for multiple skill levels, as needed.

-Works closely with registered nurse, communicating any changes related to well-being.

-Knowledge and application of proper nursing practices; body mechanics, PPE, etc.

-Participates in maintaining a clean and safe environment for Sisters, Visitors and Team Members.

-Ability to attend minimum of 12 hours of annual in service continuing education

-Promote and respect the dignity of each Sister and their family.

Qualifications:

-High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or ability to obtain by time of employment

-Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Illinois, or ability to be certified in the State of Illinois by time of employment.

-Minimum 6 months or more of caregiving and service experience.

-Must be able to work evening, weekends, or holidays as needed.
