work hours: 7:30 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

Company is looking for a Material Handler in their Receiving Department to unload trucks & sort materials. Duties include:

• Breaking down packaged boxes and pallets of products - called master packs.
• Sorting items in receiving staging area according to where they will be stored in warehouse
• Using scan gun to add items into inventory for tracking purposes
• Using hand pallet jack to move pallets to designated areas as directed
• Cleaning up paper, boxes, packing materials, etc.after each load

Requirements: Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 8-10 hour shifts; Understand receiving area can be very cold during winter months. Able to use pallet jack and/or push buggies; and able to read English so know what items go in what sorting location.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 10 hours at one time
