Flight begins at Spirit AeroSystems, where our products are taking off somewhere around the world every minute of every day. Responsibilities

As a Material and Process Engineering Intern, you will work on impactful projects:

• Analyze, research, design and develop materials and their related fabrication and application processes for use in engineering design of and/or application in structures, systems and subsystems.
• Apply principles of chemistry, physics, and material behavior to develop metallic, non-metallic and composite material and processing specifications, fabrication and assembly processes.
• Review and approve engineering drawings and documents for part conformance and to assist in resolving part failure analysis for fabrication, assembly and in service problems.

Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 You must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)

\xc2\xb7 You must be enrolled full time in a university degree program aligned to the area of internship.

\xc2\xb7 You must be a current sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student in good academic standing.
