MISO 2024 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Locations: Carmel, Indiana; Eagan, Minnesota; Little Rock, Arkansas

Are you an engineering student looking for a \xe2\x80\x9chigh-powered\xe2\x80\x9d internship for the summer of 2024? Are you ready to make a difference and bring your great ideas to help MISO keep the lights on?

As our Engineer Intern, you will spend approximately 90% of your time utilizing your ideas and efforts to work on technically challenging and personally rewarding projects that build on and broaden your technical skills, which will help prepare you for future roles as leaders and innovators. To help you do this, you will partner with your manager and mentor with the team you join, as well as a \xe2\x80\x9cbuddy\xe2\x80\x9d from a different department for additional MISO connections. You will enrich your education by taking part in \xe2\x80\x9clunch and learns\xe2\x80\x9d to understand how other MISO departments help keep the lights on; to round out your internship experience, you will give back to the community with a community service project, participate in social events, and have the ability to network with a lot of hardworking and diverse people!

Engineer Interns experience a high-profile opportunity to present the results of their projects, including making recommendations to department team members and company leadership. Engineer Internships are available in Carmel, Indiana; Eagan, Minnesota; and Little Rock, Arkansas.

Interns are paid a competitive rate and housing options are provided for students who qualify.

As we plan for our 2024 Summer Internship Program you can expect to:

• Work an average of 40 hours per week.
• Work in one of our offices
• Demonstrate MISO\xe2\x80\x99s Core Values: Integrity, Commitment, Collaboration, Creativity, and Adaptability
• Start on May 29th, 2024, and end on August 9th, 2024.

We are looking for students that have:

• Completed a minimum of three years toward a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in an Engineering field.
• Elected to pursue a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in an Engineering field.
