JJ Flynn Elementary School is accepting applications for a part-time Academic Interventionist.

Essential skills include comfort, competence and knowledge in providing math interventions and ARC-based Literacy Interventions for elementary (k-5) grade set. Experience with co-teaching and/or collaborative teaching practices desired.

Required:

• Licensed or eligible for Vermont Educators License.
• Experience in math instruction/interventions
• School experience at the elementary level
• Knowledge of best practices regarding student management protocols
• Knowledge of elementary research based best practices

Preferred:

• Training and experience with English Language Learners
• Evidence of strong connection with students and families.
• Experience in a professional/teaching learning community
• Knowledge of assessments and use of data to inform instruction
• Experience in implementing inclusive practices
• Strong communication skills as evidenced through quality of resume and cover letter
