Job Description

\xef\x82\xb7 Main responsibility is to execute Function/Performance IOT (Inter-Operability Test) in Carrier lab and field for
new 5G NSA and SA features that Carriers will newly deploy within 6~12 months and to confirm modem
features work well with carrier network
\xef\x82\xb7 Perform testing and sending daily report to internal teams and (when needed) to customer
\xef\x82\xb7 Log analysis and debugging UE issues
\xef\x82\xb7 Able to collaborate with local and HQ team to identify the root cause of issues
\xef\x82\xb7 On a request basis from carrier,
\xef\x82\xb7 help flash new Software build
\xef\x82\xb7 help train MediaTek Tool
\xef\x82\xb7 help provide testing support for joint debugging with carrier
\xef\x82\xb7 When needed, perform the stress test on own platform in Carrier lab or field to check the stability
\xef\x82\xb7 Documentation of test plan/procedures when the activities assigned are complete

Requirement
Minimum Qualifications
\xef\x82\xb7 Technical proficiency/good understanding of Wireless Technologies in the areas of LTE, NR NSA and SA, VoLTE, VoNR
\xef\x82\xb7 Expertise on 3GPP specs for 4G/5G
\xef\x82\xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a team
\xef\x82\xb7 Flexible in traveling with a short notice when required by business needs
\xef\x82\xb7 Education: Degree in Electrical/Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field

Preferred Qualifications
\xef\x82\xb7 3~4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with wireless technologies in the areas of LTE/NR/VoLTE/VoNR or 2~3 years with master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in network/telecommunication engineering
\xef\x82\xb7 Understanding of US carrier\xe2\x80\x99s certification process
\xef\x82\xb7 Hands on testing experience of cellular phone products with Carriers or OEMs. Aware of logging tools like QxDM, XCAL, QCAT, Wireshark, ELT, etc.
