Responsibilities:Requirements include but are not limited to:JOB SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Literate (able to interpret schematic drawings, specifications, computer screens, and production reports), general math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing), good communications skills, well organized, good mechanical knowledge. Qualifications:

• Scheduling work and overtime for plant employees
• Review bonus sheets and production reports
• Oversee plant to ensure machinery is being maintained
• Deal with Personnel problems of the plant employees (job and not job related)
• Other resposponsibilities may involve: attending meetings with other plant managers, supervisors, and forpersons to disucss new policies, equipment, and specifications, attendicng tooling and quality control meetings, and trying to keep the plant operating as efficiently as possible
• Plant Manager is responsible and possesses the authority to assist in determining the disposition of nonconforming product, which in certain instances may require a stoppage of production or shipment
• The PM possesses the responsibility and authority to participate in the review and approval of drawings and designs
• As required, the PM possesses the authority to author, approve (production work instructions), and maintain documents which are contained in the quality system
• As required, the PM possesses the authourity/responsibility to participate in contract review activities
• Ensure a safe working environment for employees
• Prepare and analyze production and performance reports
• Manage quality standards and performance metrics
• Create and manage plant budget, include work with Wage & Salary
• Identifying productivity goals, and monitoring processes to ensure efficiency and compliance in the manufacturing process
• Responsibility for the quality of work produced
