This position is through PEAK Temporary Staffing Services at OU. : We are seeking an Access Control & Physical Security Technologies Apprentice to join our security team. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in physical security technologies and access control systems, and be ready to learn under the guidance of our experienced team. Roles & Responsibilities: Support the installation of our access control and physical security systems under the supervision of our senior technicians and ensure all systems are functioning correctly. Aid in conducting regular system checks and preventative maintenance to maintain optimal system performance. Help in maintaining accurate records of all installation and maintenance work. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, and work in a manner that promotes a safe environment. Learn and understand the principles of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and other security-related systems. Perform other duties as assigned under the guidance of the security team. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a team and learn quickly. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. Must pass a background check and drug test. Valid driver\'s license is required.
