Our new Access Point Program Manager will partner with leadership to provide oversight and mentorship to a group of fulltime program associates.
Access Point creates well-rounded technology professionals by allowing its associates to participate in various technology roles, enabling the development of both technical and leadership skillsets.
This position plays a key role in developing early career technologists, talent that is integral for the delivery of current and future health service technologies. In addition, the role is instrumental creating and implementing strategy/improvements to the program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Create a collaborative group of early career technology professionals with healthcare expertise and technical knowledge/leadership aptitude.
Improve leadership\'s ability to deliver complex portfolios and adapt to changes in healthcare technology by fostering the development of future technology leaders.
Drive continued development and execution of program strategy.
Work closely with Cigna University, program leads, technical experts, talent acquisition and external experts to create and sustain a high-impact development program learning curriculum.
Ensure alignment with the enterprise-wide and technology program diversity and inclusion strategy.
Partner with technology leaders to create strong domestic and international roles for program associates.
Provide career coaching for associates, including assistance with role selection.
Identify and align appropriate development program initiatives to diversify the associate learning and overall experience.
Coach managers at all levels of the organization on program requirements and associate performance/development action plans.
Report on program strategy and status to the senior leadership team.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resources required with an emphasis on supporting technology strongly preferred.
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required in Human Resources or a related field required.
Strong skills in talent identification, recruiting, coaching and career development required.
Previous experience with leadership and/or development programs strongly preferred.
Ability to communicate and facilitate across all levels of a large organization with a propensity to lead by example.
Prior experience in implementing and managing processes.
Experience with reporting and metrics; job incumbent must utilize data to create insights and drive process improvements.
Capable of managing competing priorities and navigating through change.
Strong time management skills; highly organized and detail oriented.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
