Job Description


Cigna is currently seeking an Account Installation Sr. Rep. The Sr. Representative administers the installation of assigned accounts, including, but not limited to: structure and billing set up, eligibility collection, data base loading, ID cards, preparation of plan materials such as administrative documents and customer education materials. Provides support to assigned accounts by responding to inquiries or resolving issues of concern. Incumbents typically have more than 3 years of related experience and perform tasks independent of direct supervision.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Designs, creates, and/or processes ID cards for Cigna customers
  • Coordinates with internal partners and/or vendors on non-standard ID card requests.
  • Understand, anticipate and propose solutions to customer needs and prevent problems by taking steps to proactively plan ahead with matrix partners.
  • Ensures members receive timely and accurate ID cards and/or collaterals.
  • Provides customer service for assigned Sales Offices, Member Services and Health Plans.
  • Performs audits on ID cards or Collaterals as required or requested.
  • Analyzes client\'s benefits and structure and makes appropriate processing choices.
  • Prepares and maintains custom and/or generic ID card inventory.
  • Ensures the quality and accuracy of information on programming requests for ID cards.
  • Supports and participates on projects related to ID Card productions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor\'s degree preferred.
  • Previous work experience with a healthcare/insurance company a plus.
  • Solid understanding of health plan products, benefits, funding types and mechanisms, and other healthcare industry concepts and terminology.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytic skills and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly complex matrix organization.
  • Understanding of project management concepts and techniques required.
  • Ability to work with all levels in a matrix environment
  • Ability to facilitate, negotiate with and influence matrix partners
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Proficiency in MS-Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Access Database program skills highly preferred
  • No travel is expected
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 21 - 32 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.We want you to be healthy, balanced, and feel secure.
