JOB SUMMARY: Working independently and collaboratively with others, this position plays an integral role in executing Company\xe2\x80\x99s mission, philosophy, and commitment to provide exceptional service to our internal and external customers. This is a full-time non-exempt position in the Employee Benefits Department and reports to the Department Supervisor. The primary function of this position is to coordinate efforts with a Producer or Supervisor in the management and administration of Commercial Business Accounts. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: The essential functions of this position require prioritizing and completing all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner, adjusting for changing priorities and availability of resources, and demonstrating initiative in identifying additional job-related tasks to be completed when time permits. Provide consistent and sustained, positive and measurable, customer service experiences for internal and external customers resulting in increased customer satisfaction, high customer engagement, effective dispute and conflict resolution, repeat business, increased sales, and positive public reviews.
Facilitate a seamless renewal process for all assigned accounts through data collection, data entry, quoting, comparative coverage analysis, proposal creation, communication with insurance carriers and clients, and all other necessary tasks to ensure renewals are completed accurately and on time.
Resolve day-to-day customer service inquiries from clients via phone, email and in person in a manner that maintains the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Build strong working relationships with clients by actively communicating, providing excellent service, being personable and encouraging feedback.
Maintain a complete and accurate electronic client file by documenting all pertinent client communication, documents and data within the Agency Management System.
Actively look for ways to increase business though new sales, upselling, account rounding and referrals to other departments.
Continually develop knowledge of insurance products, technologies, and processes in order to maintain the Company\xe2\x80\x99s high standard for educational excellence.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of local, state and federal insurance laws and regulations applicable to Company\xe2\x80\x99s activities and take affirmative steps within the scope of the duties of this position to ensure the Company remains legally compliant in its current practices, policies and procedures. Exercise independent judgment and discretion when appropriate and seek input and assistance from other subject matter experts to ensure issues are addressed effectively and lawfully.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of customer service experience in an insurance related field.
Required Licenses & Certifications
Must have a current Life & Health Insurance License or be able to obtain one within the Company\xe2\x80\x99s timeline.
An equivalent combination of experience and education that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position will be considered in lieu of the outlined requirements.
