Responsibilities:
Own the Process:
Manage multiple complex industrial automation projects, ensuring they're delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Lead with Strategy:
Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
Drive Results:
Lead cross-functional teams and maintain a hands-on approach to ensure project success from kickoff to closeout.
Build Relationships:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
Stay on Top of the Details:
Oversee project documentation, including estimates, proposals, change orders, and quality assessments.
Mentor & Grow:
Guide junior team members, conduct performance reviews, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work closely with finance, operations, and client success teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Stay Agile:
Manage shifting priorities and evolving client needs with a flexible, problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience).
10+ years of hands-on experience in project management within industrial automation or related fields.
Technical Expertise:
Strong background in process control systems and integration projects.
Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
Experience in client-facing roles, proposals, and project estimating.
Leadership:
Proven ability to lead teams, mentor talent, and drive project success.
Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
Eligibility:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
Skills:
PMP Certification.
Familiarity with industry tools like Microsoft Project, SharePoint, or Access.
Knowledge of Control Systems Integrators Association (CSIA) best practices.
Hands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI, or electrical design.
Background in food processing, grain handling, seed production, or other industrial sectors.
