Job Description


This role will be a key contributor on the Fixed Asset and Leasing teams. The role partners other corporate service areas and customers across the company to provide complex accounting reporting, accounting analysis and resolution of complex accounting issues in the areas of Fixed Assets and Leasing.Major responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for Fixed Assets and Leasing.
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for Fixed Assets, Real Estate Accounting and IT Finance. Recommends improvements in accounting reporting systems.
  • Completes corporate fixed asset transactions.
  • Prepares timely and accurate GAAP and STAT accounting journal entries. Entries may be complex in nature.
  • Perform quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations. Provides peer review expertise for balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Responsible for analysis and interpretation of complex financial information.
  • Responsible for managing complex special projects.
  • Ensures compliance with GAAP and STAT SOX controls and policies. Supports internal and external audits.
  • Supports cross functional teams and processes, including Procurement, Tax, IT Finance, Corporate Accounting and other customers throughout the corporation.
  • Provided key support for the Oracle Cloud migration project.
  • Build relationships to enhance close collaboration with partners across functions to develop, implement, and track outcomes related to accounting issue resolution and process enhancements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 3-6+ years of Accounting and/or Finance experience is required.
  • Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong excel skills. Experience with Oracle and/or similar General Ledger application necessary.
  • Ability to act as a change agent, foster continuous improvement and implement process efficiencies.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
