The primary function of the Accountant, North America is to ensure the accurate recording of financial transactions. This role supports the General Accounting and Reporting team in the various accounting functions, including month end close, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, SOX, and other reporting requirements, in addition to ad-hoc project support for North America and CSI Corporate functions.
Overall, an Accountant plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of an organization by effectively managing and ensuring accurate and complete recording and reporting of various aspects of Financials.
The Accountant will coordinate and collaborate with other departments such as FP&A, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and communicate accounting-related matters.
Critical to the position is also the compliance with Internal Controls, working with management to follow all relevant regulations / standards.

2+ years of accounting experience.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience with ERP Systems, i.e., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP or Oracle.
Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products to include Excel, Word, Outlook.
High level of interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve desired results.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professional skepticism.
Functional knowledge of financial reporting systems and methodologies.
