Nature of WorkAppointment Incentive for DHHR:$5,000.00
This position will work under supervision of the CFO and in collaboration with grants accountants and the Bureau of Behavioral Health (BBH ) fiscal section . This position will develop and maintain a general knowledge of various federal, state and professional rules, regulations and standards related to allowable cost determination and invoicing procedures. Assist in the invoice reconciliation process to ensure compliance with the states policies and procedures and ensure BBH internal accounting system is reconciled to OASIS on each of the over 450 grants in a yearly cycle. Assist senior accountants in the preparation of subrecipient grant agreements and change orders for distribution to granted entities, which includes a thorough review of all funding streams and their respective requirements. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and professional standards, federal and state accounting standards and statutory requirements, and agency policies and procedures.
