POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for general functions of the Accounting Department for the Great Falls Clinic and GFC Hospital. Functions will include: managing banking transactions and spreadsheets, deposits, cash manager entries, assisting with accounts payable and payroll, provider compensation, provider reporting, reconciliations and other accounting duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma, required.
• Associates degree or a college level accounting courses, preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• +1 year of accounting/finance experience, preferred.
• Healthcare background, preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Ability to operate computer hardware and software, required.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to effectively use 10-key, required.
• Ability to evaluate and analyze data, required.
• Ability to creatively solve problems and issues, required.
• Ability to interact and communicate with other staff, management, vendors, providers, and other business contacts, required.
• Ability to tolerate stress, particularly as it relates to a sometime hectic work schedule with multiple deadlines, required.
• Ability to work within a double entry accounting system, preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare, preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Medical Terminology, required.
• Key Boarding Skills, required.
• Basic Office Skills, required.
