Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized

Accounting Clerk/Administrative Assistant

to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting accounting functions, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:Accounting Duties:



Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts Prepare and send invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances Assist in payroll processing, expense tracking, and financial reporting Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Assist in preparing financial reports and tax documents as needed Support the accounting team with audits and compliance requirements

Administrative Duties:



Manage office supplies, correspondence, and general administrative tasks Maintain and organize files, records, and databases Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide customer service as needed Prepare reports, presentations, and other business documents Support management with special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:



Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred 1-3 years of experience in accounting or administrative support roles Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
