Accounting Payroll Specialist
The Full Employment Council, a leading nonprofit employment and training organization is seeking to fill the position of an Accounting/Payroll Specialist. The individual will report to the CFO and will performs a variety of technical accounting and complex administrative duties related to the preparation, maintenance and audit of financial records and accounts within a specialized area such as payroll, supportive services and other accounting projects, data entry, customer support, and the creating and maintaining of customers reports. Ensure efficient and accurate delivery of data in support of critical programs and verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records, prepare Journal Voucher, reconcile and balance assigned accounts, performs monthly reconciliations, assist with the month-end process. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent in work experience, experience with government or non-profit agency experience is preferred, Two years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in processing benefits and payroll for 500+ participants bi-weekly using Paycom Payroll System. Computer literate; including spreadsheet, database, proficient in Microsoft, Excel and Access. Must have personal transportation, driver\xe2\x80\x99s license, and auto insurance. Must be able to pass a background check.
