We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to provide 3-4 months of temporary maternity leave coverage beginning in mid-September.

The position is remote, working Pacific Time hours, full-time.

You will:

• Manage extensive accounts payable tasks
• Perform month-end journals and associated reconciliations by working with different areas of the business to ensure all transactions are accounted for in the correct period
• Prepare detailed account reconciliations
• Enter invoices into Netsuite on a daily basis after receiving approval from various departments
• Compile A/P Aging reports on a weekly basis to determine which checks need to be distributed
• Research and respond to inquiries from employees, managers, senior management, and others related to accounts payable

Qualifications:

• Availability for a short-term assignment
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, including hands-on work in A/P. Experience in the media and entertainment industry is a plus
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle Netsuite is preferred
• Must operate effectively under tight time constraints and be highly self-motivated
• Detail-oriented
• Strong work ethic coupled with a commitment to high standards
• Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
