Summary
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team at Dolphin Carpet & Tile. This role is essential in managing our financial transactions and ensuring timely payments, contributing directly to our commitment to quality and customer service in the flooring industry.
Responsibilities
Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and financial documents.
Assist with month-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely payment approvals.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for data entry and reporting.
Prepare reports on accounts payable activities as needed.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Qualifications
Proven experience in accounts payable or corporate accounting roles.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
Experience with account reconciliation and general ledger processes.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills for collaboration across departments.
