Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company that is in Eugene, OR (ON SITE / IN PERSON - NOT A REMOTE POSITION)? *5 MONTH CONTRACT WITH POTENTIAL TO EXTEND OR GO PERM*
Daily Responsibilities for an Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Positions in this function prepare and maintain records of amounts owed and ensures prompt payment of invoices.
• Processes and verifies invoice coding of expenses, preparation of vouchers, and issuance of checks for payment.
• Reviews documents for accuracy and compliance with organization policy and regulatory guidelines including proper authorization, documentation, general ledger coding, correct amounts, proper remittance, and sales tax.
• May include responsibility for vendor and provider payments, as well as employee reimbursements.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of accounting with experience in accounts payable.
• Ability to determine the correct course of action with minimal information, and willingness to ask questions if not sure about the course of action.
• Experience with email, scanning, OCR, and PHI.
• A willingness to learn new technologies and processes as the need arises.
• High school education/ GED or equivalent experience.

Hours for this Position:
8am-4:30pm M-F
