Tatum by Randstad is assisting a worldwide hospitality company with their search for an Interim Accounts Receivable Manager to manage the day-to-day billing, collections and payment application functions. The ideal candidate will also be responsible preparing/reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, preparing various financial reports as needed, and maintaining their Accounting System.

This contract position is an immediate need and can start working as soon as possible!

The compensation range for this position is $45 to $55/hr. with flexibility based on previous experience.

responsibilities:

• Oversee billing, credit and collections activities, including invoicing, cash application, deduction management, collections, bad debt reserve analysis and management reporting
• Audit and prepare the hotel/convention aging for presentation to Executive Management
• Participate in the month-end closing, prepare monthly reconciliations, and assist in preparing monthly consolidations and ad-hoc reporting
• Work closely with Sales & Marketing, Catering, Front Office & Property Management teams to support billing and collections, weekly credit meeting held to ensure these efforts are continuous
• Conduct Credit Reviews to determine whether to extend credit accounts to potential customers; review of contracts
• Prepare billing and commission payments to 3 rd party travel agencies/websites
• Maintain LMS Accounting system, which includes setting up various ledgers
• Manage a team of 6 Accounting Clerks

qualifications:

• 5+ years of Accounts Receivable management experience within the hospitality industry required
• Bachelor\'s Degree in accounting or related preferred
• Working knowledge of LMS highly desired
