Job Description

The Admin. Office Clerk / Bookkeeper facilitates the flow and efficiency of the administrative department and other assigned departments by performing various clerical and administrative tasks. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES



Greets and directs customers and visitors by phone, in person, and through electronic media. Answers and transfers phone calls; screening when necessary. Files documents and maintains filing systems as assigned. Retrieves information as requested from records, emails, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written data summaries when needed. Maintain fleet information and serving information. Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions. Process invoices/bills for payment timely. Keys in data entry Answers and routes telephone calls; convey information both orally and in writing. Proofread checks, invoices & other materials and make necessary corrections before submissions. Learn and follow standard office procedures; learn appropriate filing formats. Work cooperatively and effectively with customers and vendors. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS



High school diploma or equivalent. One year of clerical or administrative experience required. Previous data entry experience helpful. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite. Ability to prioritize and multi-task Able to resolve administrative problems in a professional manner. Must be self-managing, punctual, reliable, and well organized. Proven clear thinker, levelheaded, solution oriented. Able to work in a progressive office environment and the ability to adapt and change is a must. Must be sensitive in the handling of confidential matters, including privileged communications and records.
