It is not a remote position and the employer does not promise relocation assistance.Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant provides organizational support for each GHS case manager and the Supervisory Case Manager including, but not limited to, calendar management, travel coordination, purchasing-related activities, and assisting with projects and assignments as requested. This position requires a high degree of initiative and flexibility. The Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Supervisory Case Manager. and is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay.Supervisory Responsibilities: None.Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Helps coordinate appointments and meetings for the case management team.
  • Performs clerical tasks such as filing and scanning documents, organizing digital files, creating memos, drafting reports and other professional correspondence, and sending documents and agency announcements to employees and outside agencies.
  • Receives and distributes mail, prioritizes correspondence, investigates, and follows up as required.
  • Greets and assists clients entering the case management office.
  • Compiles statistics and program outcome data for inclusion in reports, presentations, and special assignments.
  • Coordinates registration and travel arrangements for approved employee training and conferences.

  • Strong professional boundaries and ability to maintain the confidentiality of agency and employee information.
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently.
  • Ability to represent Gastineau Human Services Corp. professionally.
  • Able to type a minimum of 50 words per minute.
  • Extremely proficient with Office 365 or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software, including the agency\xe2\x80\x99s electronic health record (EHR) system.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred.
  • At least four years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must pass the ADOC and DOH background checks.
  • Must have a current driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and be insurable by GHS\xe2\x80\x99 auto insurance carrier.
  • Must pass drug test upon hire.
