FAF Inc has an exciting opportunity!! Join our growing sales department as an administrative assistant and work with our major accounts! The Sales Assistant will partner with the sales team and provide support, both administratively and informational to the assigned customers by responding and reacting to our customer inquiries and requests ensuring we are meeting all customer deadlines and requests. This position also provides some sales reporting and analysis. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Work with customers to coordinate placing orders and all necessary follow-up from order placement to delivery Interact regularly with customers, and cross functional team to ensure customer receive resolutions and replies to inquiries Create and send sales proposals to customers Initiate and follow through all aspects of order processing Create, update, and maintain all customer required forms, websites for new programs, item set ups, case packs, dims/weights, UPC, prices, factory info, port info, detailed descriptions, customs requirements, etc. ) Communicate customer updates/changes to appropriate personnel Create, maintain and deliver accurate POS reports and analysis for designated accounts Interpret report data Coordinate and manage all sample requirements/requests Review and run weekly vendor performance score cards Responsible for meeting preparation which includes presentation books, sales reports, customer specific forms when necessary Perform additional related duties and projects as necessary SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES An Associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Marketing, or related field or 1-2 years in sales administrative or customer service role or a combination of relevant experience and education Ability to perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload and priorities Strong time management and prioritization skills, as well as, the ability to quickly change path based on customer demands Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with co-workers at various levels Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook The ability to learn AX This position is an in-office role, located in our Smithfield, RI office.
