The Homecare & Hospice Association of Utah (HHAU) is looking for an Administrative Assistant with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work with our small team and the organization\'s volunteer Board.
This is a fun, flexible position that will provide the employee with opportunities to interact with a variety of people in the community while performing the majority of work from home.
Required Availability: 15 - 20 hours a week. Future needs may provide opportunities to expand hours if interested. Ideally candidates will live within 30 minutes of Salt Lake City, Ut.
Pay Rate: $16 - $20/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities
Communicate with members, potential members, community partners and others, as assigned, via email, phone and in-person visits.
Maintain membership and community partner directories and databases
Make copies of agendas/programs/certificates and prepare sign-in information for Board Meetings, Workshop/Conventions, etc.
Help to secure event venues and arrange for catering/snacks, etc.
Assist with the set-up and logistics of events
Help to research guest speaker travel & accommodation arrangements
Respond appropriately to some membership inquiries as designated by Executive Director
Assist with grant research and fundraising
Help to create promotional literature and social media posts
Assist with errands
Attend meetings
Serve as primary contact when Director and Administrative Manager are "out of office" or otherwise not available.
Required Experience/Qualifications
Professional communication skills
Organized, responsible and timely
Technologically savvy (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, e-mail, text)
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel along Wasatch Front
Charismatic and not easily flustered (e.g., by member concerns)
Aversion to drama and gossip
Seeking a long-term engagement
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of the home health, hospice and/or personal care industries
Event Planning
Fundraising
Designing promotional flyers/emails
Social Media (e.g., FaceBook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X)
60 WPM keyboarding average
Willingness to occasionally travel to parts of the state outside of the Wasatch Front
