The University of Southern Maine\'s Disability Service Center is looking for an Administrative Specialist to join their dynamic team!
For this Administrative Specialist position, the starting rate of pay will be $17.69/hour for a new hire or the appropriate transfer rate for a current employee with the University of Maine System. This position is full-time, working 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Friday. This position is located on the Portland Campus.
The Administrative Specialist CL2 performs administrative work to facilitate ADA accommodations for students with disabilities. Responsibilities of the position are essential to maintain compliance with federal and state disability laws. Support services for students with disabilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with coordination of test taking and note taking services, and assisting with the production of materials in alternate format. A strong ability to maintain confidentiality is essential as this person works with personal records, medical releases, and communicates daily with students, faculty, and staff.
