Full Scope Hospital Based MidwifePosition Summary:
The Advance Practice Provider (APP) will provide all aspects of care including chronic conditions, well care and acute care to patients in a cost effective manner with a focus on quality outcomes. The APP acts as a role model to facilitate and enhance the development of quality nursing care through evidence based practice.Position Requirements:Nurse Practitioner:
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advance Practice Nurse.
- Masters of Science in Nursing with clinical specialty appropriate to position.
- Current certification by American Nurse Creditionalling Center or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner.
- Maintains State of Illinois and Federal DEA license.
- Must maintain Copley Memorial Hospital clinical privileges, if applicable
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with 2 years of experience in area of clinical specialty.
- CPR certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant.
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- Must maintain Copley Memorial Hospital clinical privileges, if applicable
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with 2 years of experience in area of clinical specialty.
- CPR certification
- Excellent communication skills.
