Coffman Associates, Inc. (www.coffmanassociates.com) is a national airport consulting firm specializing in master planning, land use compatibility, environmental assessments, and sustainability planning for airports. We are currently seeking an entry- to mid-level airport planner at our Overland Park, Kansas or Scottsdale, Arizona offices. A qualified candidate has at least a B.S. degree (preferred Aviation Business, Airport Management, Community and Regional, or a related field). The ideal candidate has experience in airport planning or another organizational planning field. The specific job tasks vary but include preparing airport master plan documentation; writing reports; analyzing data and plans for airport land use compatibility; making presentations to advisory committees, the public, and city councils/commissions; and performing other related duties as assigned. The candidate should have strong computer, writing, and verbal skills. Experience with and knowledge of federal aviation regulations, advisory circulars, and the preparation of technical reports is beneficial. A competitive salary is commensurate with experience.
