Our team members have proven track records of success and integrity with considerable experience designing, estimating building and managing projects.Position OverviewThe position will be responsible for obtaining, planning, directing, coordinating and supervising construction to ensure an on-time, on-budget project execution with high quality and no safety issues. Project manager would be responsible for multiple projects at one time.Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or University in Engineering, Construction or related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum 10 years commercial construction experience or equivalent combination of experience and education is required
  • 5-10 years of federal new build, renovation and repair type construction experience required.
  • Management of Design Build and Bild Build projects.
  • Proven track record of quality projects.
  • Knowledge of the market and competition.
  • Must be willing to travel, when needed.
  • Working internally with an operations team, upper management and externally with Owners, Architects/Engineers, and subcontractors.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage project from proposal stage through closeout
  • Handle any issues that arise resulting from unforeseen conditions
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors and consultants through project completion
  • Communicate with project team regarding ASIs, RFIs and material submittals.
  • Work with Pre-Construction and Field Supervision to identify and implement all contract deliverables, quality testing, and report requirements
  • Coordinate with Quality Control and Safety representatives
  • Coordinate required inspections with local and Federal jurisdictions
  • Direct project activities to ensure conformance to project budget, plans, specs, and schedule
  • Create staging, logistics, and phasing plan for the project
  • Responsible for project startup, including obtaining permits and licenses and managing jobsite mobilization.
  • Preside over pre-construction meetings with each subcontractor.
  • Attend all OAC progress meetings and create monthly status reports.
  • Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate work.
  • Ensure that subcontractor(s) is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work.
  • Enter and update information in project management software (job status reports, projects, change orders, and RFIs).
  • Develop and administer subcontractor and purchase order change orders.
  • Review projects, labor reports, safety documents, and schedules on a monthly basis.
  • Review and approve material/equipment invoices according to project budget.
  • Prepare payment requests and monitor collections.
  • Meet with Federal Agencies to review projects and inspections.
  • Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
  • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
  • Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team
  • Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors regarding quality of work or scheduling
  • Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner
  • Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion
  • Assist in obtaining permits or approval of revisions
  • Forecast project cash flow in relation to project schedule
  • Track financial performance of projects
  • Prepare project reports for management and clients
  • Interface with Client
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Engineer and Architect
  • Lead coordination of subcontractors
  • Manage overall project team activities
  • Manage and oversee job close-out documentation and procedures including closeout documents, final job report, and final accounting.
  • Mentor and train assistant project managers and co-op/intern students
