Summary:
Reporting hierarchically to the Head of Compliance Risk Assessment and functionally to the Regional Head of Financial Security, the AML and Sanctions Risk Assessment Officer is in charge of implementing the CACIB US AML and Sanctions Risk Assessment Program.
AML and sanctions risks must be identified before they can be properly assessed, monitored and mitigated. The businesses, as 1st Line of Defense (LoD1), are responsible for identifying and mitigating all compliance risks for their activities and assessing controls. The CACIB US Compliance Division, as the 2nd Line of Defense (LoD2), manages the Compliance Risk Assessment process, provides guidance to the businesses and is responsible for credible challenge with the risk identification, risk mitigation and overall completeness.
Compliance Risk Assessment serves CACIB US (\xe2\x80\x9cthe Firm\xe2\x80\x9d) commitment manage its compliance risk, manage its annual compliance plan and to mitigate non-compliance risk by helping the Firm\'s personnel to understand the policies, laws, rules and regulations that apply to them.
The AML and Sanctions Risk Assessment Officer\'s mandate is to ensure the firm\'s CRA process is appropriately executed and reports available to Senior Management.
Key Responsibilities:
General
\xc2\xb7Participate with the design / update of the AML and Sanctions Risk Assessment (AMLRA and SARA, respectfully) methodology
\xc2\xb7Prepare and run the annual AML and sanctions risk assessment exercise as per the Firm\'s policies and procedures and tools
\xc2\xb7Manage data collection and data quality controls for input data to the risk assessment and management reports
\xc2\xb7Perform credible challenge of risk assessment results from the LoD1
\xc2\xb7Prepare management presentations on the risk assessment framework and results
\xc2\xb7Report on and provide analysis on the annual risk assessment exercise
\xc2\xb7Prepare regular reports on the Compliance Program, to local and head office management on key Compliance metrics, risks, and controls to ensure escalation of key concerns
\xc2\xb7Prepare data analytics dashboards
\xc2\xb7Assist in managing the Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA) process and related risk mapping for the Compliance Function
\xc2\xb7Follow-up on risk assessment actions plans
\xc2\xb7Work with Compliance Teams to use the results of the risk assessment for the annual testing and training plans design
\xc2\xb7Liaise with relevant Divisions to participate to new tools and/ or methodological implementation
Other
\xc2\xb7Assist in working with Operational Risk Management on Compliance related controls and reporting.
Management and Reporting:
The position reports directly to the Head of Compliance Risk Assessment and Regional Head of Financial Security.
