This position can be filled at any location within Entergy\'s service areas (AR, LA, MS or TX). New Orleans, LA is the preferred location.

JOB SUMMARY

Performs a wide variety of data analyses under general supervision of senior analysts and managers.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analysis on contract administration and budget estimation responsibilities for large capital and contract projects
  • Lead and champion initiatives to help pursue additional benefits and improved outcomes for our customers in the entire metering organization
  • Assist in yearly records management tasks such as records inventory and protection plan
  • Support monitoring of the meter inventory creation process through its various stages in Maximo and associated AMI applications including identification and remediation of any issues.
  • Collaborate with key functions in Power Delivery to identify, develop and implement solutions that support improved Field Metering Operation processes.
  • Build upon existing or establish new relationships and key partnerships within Power Delivery for both Transmission and Distribution workgroups.
  • Must be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate in a highly visible and rapidly changing work environment.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Power BI is desired
  • Experience in field operations in Transmission or Distribution is desired
  • Research assigned portions of a project, documents, sources and works with relevant stakeholders inside and outside of department to ensure relevancy.
  • Recognizes data inconsistencies and irregularities and reports issues to management
  • Supports the review of functions and structures of business area to avoid overlap and duplication.
  • Documents analyses using a consistent methodology and nomenclature to ensure that analyses are preserved for future use.
  • Performs quality control analysis to ensure accuracy and rationale
  • Collaborate with IT Service delivery to support resolution of production issues as well as support requirements gathering for enhancements and defects
  • Generation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions or job aids
  • Tracking and trending of relevant key process indicators (KPIs)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position
Bachelor\'s Degree in a technical or business-related field required or equivalent work experience.
Desired: Master\'s Degree.

Minimum experience required of the position
Analyst I: 0-2 years of professional experience.

Analyst II: 2-4 years of professional experience.
Analyst III: 4-6 years of professional experience.
Analyst Sr. 6+ years of professional experience.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Analytical and project management skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: PowerPoint and Excel.

Any certificates, licenses, etc. required of the position
Desired:
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • Agile Analysis Certification (AAC)
  • Professional in Business Analysis (PBA)
