Responsibilities
Seattle Children\xe2\x80\x99s is expanding! In 2022, we opened 8 new Operating Rooms and 2 new Cardiac Catheter Labs, giving the organization a total of 28 surgical and procedural spaces across a total of 4 perioperative suites. We are looking for Anesthesia Techs to join our team during this exciting time!
This position is eligible for a $10K sign on bonus and relocation assistance!
The Anesthesia Tech will assist licensed anesthesia providers in the acquisition, preparation and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia. This is a 0.9 FTE position with a 0630AM start time, 12 hr shifts every Friday-Sunday. Baylor
Other duties include:
Clean the anesthesia area and set up circuits and IV.
Set up A-lines and Central Lines using sterile technique.
Help in difficult airways. Includes using the Glidescope and difficult airway cart.
Be able to work as a team with the rest of the techs. Understand that we are a teaching facility and be able to work with fellows and residents.
Needs to be able to adapt to different patient sizes. From below 1kg to over 400lbs.Help with intubation and extubation

Requirements
Required Education/Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited Anesthesia Tech Program, OR applicable military anesthesia technician course of study. In lieu of schooling, 5 years of Anesthesia Technician experience in an Operating Room setting required.
Required Credentials:
- BLS for Healthcare Providers.
Preferred:
- Certification as an Anesthesia Technician.
- Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician in an operating room with job duties dedicated to anesthesia.
Min to Max Hourly Salary
$28.31 - $45.82 /hr
Min to Max Annual Salary
$58,884.80 - $95,305.60 /yr
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children\xe2\x80\x99s offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
