Anesthesiology Nocturnist Opportunity at Danbury Hospital in Fairfield County, Connecticut (60 miles from NYC)

Danbury Hospital is seeking full-time Nocturnist Anesthesiologist to join our employed and growing group based in suburban Fairfield County, about 60 miles northeast of New York City. The position will be a block schedule (7 on 7 off) with 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a. With approximately 40 physicians and 40 CRNAs, our group covers a variety of cases including spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics. Our highly experienced team provides 24/7 coverage at Danbury, Norwalk, New Milford and Sharon Hospitals. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, established program that includes teaching to residents, medical students and CRNA students.

The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Anesthesia and looking to join a highly collegial group. New and recent graduates welcome to apply. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses, malpractice coverage, relocation reimbursement, and sign-on bonus.

Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. We are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our employed Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.

Danbury, Connecticut, in Fairfield County, is located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and on the border of New York State, about 60 miles northeast of New York City and 60 miles west of Hartford, CT.
