How you\xe2\x80\x99ll contribute:
As an Alternative Distribution Specialist, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for uncovering sales opportunities within our Alternative Distribution Channel through focused prospecting efforts driven by data and analytics. The individuals you prospect will be a combination of Financial Professionals working directly with clients and IMO Marketers who wholesale our products. You will be an expert on the solutions we offer and how they may be used as part of a client\xe2\x80\x99s overall financial plan to help them meet their goals in retirement.

In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll get to:
Drive Sales through proactive call campaigns, leveraging marketing resources, meetings (Virtual and In Person) and conference attendance.
Attain or exceed sales goals.
Generate cross selling opportunities through proactive conversations around our solutions with Financial Professionals.
Develop sales ideas and refine product positioning.
Partner with Alternative Distribution Sales Support Specialists to drive sales within covered IMOs and Firms.
Represent Brighthouse Financial at Conferences, Meetings and Events.
Perform other duties as assigned.

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for people who have:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred.
5+ years of Internal Wholesaling experience.
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment to achieve goals.
Strong knowledge of Annuity products and the marketplace.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Highly organized individual with a passion for driving sales and results.
Previous leadership experience preferred.
Must hold a valid FINRA SIE, Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 license.
Must hold or obtain a state Life Insurance license with variable line of authority in their resident state.
Designation, such as RICP or CFP, preferred.
Proven track record of success in previous sales roles, inclusive of successful achievement of sales goals and metrics expectations.

Compensation \xe2\x80\x93 Base salary is $55,000.00 plus competitive monthly variable sales incentive target based on sales results.
