Job Summary:

Join this highly visible team and perform technically challenging assignments, directly contributing to protecting our nation and our war fighters. We are looking for a Section Leader in the Effectors Signal Processing: Air Power, Advanced Technologies Department. This department solves complex Radar Signal Processing problems to support, drive, and enable key business captures, current programs, special projects, and wide-ranging business opportunities. This position is in Tucson, Arizona.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• You will act as a key manager and mentor for 10 - 15 engineers.
• You will influence, foster teamwork, and enable interdependent execution.
• You will participate in talent acquisition, goal setting, performance development, and appraisal of assigned employees.
• You will ensure each direct report has suitable work assignments and opportunities for growth and career advancement.

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires a Bachelor\'s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Radar Signal Processing or 7 years of related experience with a relevant advanced degree.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience specifically in missile system applications.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience directly on customer programs.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or technical lead role.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• An advanced degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.
• Experience with hardware/software integration.
• Experience and knowledge of the Air Power or Advanced Technologies portfolio.
• Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
• Experience developing and mentoring new employees.
• Communicating with different levels of employees, departments, and customers.
