Leidos is seeking an Application Solutions Developer who is motivated by variety, is seeking a challenging environment for professional growth, and is interested in supporting an Investor-Owned Utility client headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana.

As an Application Solutions Developer, you will design, develop, deploy and support technical solutions in a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will support vendor products and integrations as well as deploy application updates and releases. Candidate must be familiar with the configuration and system testing process.

Location: Role can be remote, however must be near to the New Orleans, LA, Jackson, MS or Little Rock, AR areas (or willing to relocate) to be near nuclear plants.

Note: On call rotation and evening/weekend work may be required. Additional security screening required for nuclear-site access for employment.

The Challenge:

• Work directly with client customers to provide world-class application support for multiple utility company applications.
• Ability to review software requirements and prepare/review test plans, prepare/review test cases, execute tests, reporting of defects, and preparation of test reports using resting methodology.
• Design, code and deliver new applications and application enhancements in multiple platforms (.NET, SQL Server, Visual Studio, SQL Server Reporting Services, PowerShell)
• Configure, Install, and Implement Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) vendor software/applications.

What sets you apart:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or similar degree with two plus (2+) years of experience working on a support and development team required. May consider more years of experience in lieu of degree
• Must have experience in analyzing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions
• Must be able to pass a background check for nuclear-site access for employment.
• Be able to work within limited time restraints and strict deadlines
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
• Possess excellent inter-personnel skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• U.S Citizen required and able to obtain and maintain a Security clearance
• Proficiency with all or some of the following: SQL(T-SQL/P-SQL), .Net (ASP.NET; .NET Windows Services; .NET Web Services;), version control, SQL Server, SQL Server integration Services, testing methodologies. Database Design: SQL triggers, functions, procedures, views; IIS, Developing project estimates, requirements documents, and design documents; SQL Server Reporting Services and Crystal Reports; SQL Server Management Studio; SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio; TOAD, Windows and basic Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Full Stack experience a plus
• Five plus (5+) years of experience working on a support and development team a plus
• Experience with Service Now or similar ticket management system

Pay Range: Pay Range $63,050.00 - $113,975.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
