This is an hourly position and we offer a comprehensive benefits package (specifics vary based on position and classification).
Fish Cutters are responsible but are not limited to the below:
ensuring the seafood cases are well-stocked with fresh, high-quality seafood products for our customers
receive, stock, cut, prepare, wrap, weigh, price, and attractively merchandise seafood department products
proper inventory control and product rotation to maximize product freshness and availability, while minimizing waste
attend the service case
assist customers with special requests, and answer questions about our seafood products
help increase sales by offering product samples and by recommending additional items.
Fish cutters work with equipment like wrapping machines and knives.
Qualifications and requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 75 pounds
Must successfully pass apprentice/training program (applies to apprentice only)
Must have TB Clearance
Must comply with all company policies and requirements
