Job Description

Blueprint808 Architecture is seeking an experienced and qualified Architectural Professional to manage the Permit and Construction Documents Phases at our boutique firm. Our ideal employee will have in-depth experience in luxury residential architecture in Hawaii and enjoy a remote (work-from-home) position with the rest of our Honolulu-based team. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

10+ years experience in a professional role in a residential architecture firm Proficiency in Autodesk Revit for drafting and design (2-years experience minimum) Experience with Google Apps/Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam Oahu Based Team player
Duties/Responsibilities:

This position would manage Construction Documents and requires proficiency in: Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications Knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials and construction QC and review the work performed by other technical and support staff assigned to projects. Proficient in coordinating drawings with consultants. Proficient in Construction Administration including responding to RFI, reviewing submittals, issuing addendums and issuing bulletins. This position would manage Permit Documents and requires proficiency in: Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations and safety standards. Experience tracking plans through permitting with the local jurisdiction and responding to planning and plan check comments.
