Specialty Paving and Grading, LLC is a reputable construction company specializing in asphalt roadways, parking lots and driveways in central and northern Arizona. With a commitment to quality, safety, and excellence, we are dedicated to delivering outstanding results to our clients.

We are currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Roller Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asphalt paving operations and possess the skills necessary to operate equipment effectively and safely.

Responsibilities:

Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on the job site

Collaborate with paving crew members to ensure efficient workflow and quality results

Operate asphalt roller equipment to compact asphalt surfaces according to project specifications

Monitor asphalt temperatures and adjust rolling patterns as needed to achieve desired compaction

Follow proper techniques and methods including timing, pinching joints, stopping angles, proper watering of rolls and wheels, etc.

Avoid excessive starting and stopping



Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience operating asphalt rollers

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Proficiency in operating various types of asphalt roller equipment

Knowledge of paving techniques, materials, and industry best practices

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to job sites as needed. Most jobs in central/northern AZ.
