This position is located in Bedford, IA; Taylor County

Taylor County is seeking a qualified Assessor, Deputy Assessor or Assessor\'s Clerk (capable of obtaining the appropriate qualifications and certifications to be an Assessor within 90 days of starting). The position will be available until filled, and wage will be determined based on experience.

The Assessor is responsible for physical inspections of properties for data collection and completes appraisals on residential, agricultural, commercial, industrial, multi-residential and/or exempt properties; and applies the classification and mechanics of listing and appraising real estate in which the employee exercises sound judgment and uses general knowledge of the functions of the Assessor\'s Office.
