Sphere Renewables is a start-up company who supplies quality product & service for industrial OEM\'s in the Wind Energy business. We are looking for dedicated, knowledgeable, & success driven individuals who can contribute to our business. This position is the refurbishing from windmill sites on humidifiers, drive trains, nacelle frames, & hub frames. Duties & responsibilities
- Receive transport equipment assets from the field.
- Verify transport equipment assets and parts inventory.
- Visually inspect key points on each piece of equipment as per guidelines, PWI and drawings.
- Perform basic repair and kitting functions on all transport equipment assets requiring work to be put back in service.
- Collaborate with customer and subcontractors on site to set timing and delivery expectations for the assets to be delivered for re-use.
- Prepare documents to summarize activities performed daily and submit to supervisor.
- Previous logistics experience [warehousing or similar].
- Knowledge regarding operation of forklift, heavy equipment, power & hand tools, welding machine [wire], air compressors, and pressure washers.
- Ability to run multiple tasks in a single day.
- Willingness to work outside in the elements daily.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and on a team.
- Physical ability to lift, pull, push, carry up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
