Scope of JobWe seek applicants who are dedicated to serving The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley's diverse student body as a Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of International Business & Entrepreneurship beginning in the 2025-2026 academic year.Our courses are offered during the day and evenings in different modalities - face-to-face, hybrid, online synchronous and online asynchronous. Face-to-face classes are offered in the Edinburg and Brownsville campuses.The successful candidate will be prepared to teach in the Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship undergraduate and graduate programs, conduct scholarly and applied research, and engage in service-related activities. The successful candidate will also have primary teaching and research interests in International Business. Minimum QualificationsQualifications Assistant Professor:An earned doctorate (Ph.D. or DBA) in Entrepreneurship, Management or a closely related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution (or equivalent).Demonstrated success in teaching excellence at the collegiate level;
Publications in peer-reviewed journals or high-quality journals.Qualifications Associate Professor:Previous tenure at an AACSB-accredited institution, In good standing at current institution.An earned doctorate (Ph.D. or DBA) in Entrepreneurship, Management or a closely related discipline from an AACSB accredited institution (or equivalent).Demonstrated success in teaching excellence at the collegiate level;
Demonstrated expertise in International Business;
Publications in peer-reviewed A star journals per (ADBC)Discipline Specific Required QualificationsTeaching experience at the University level.
Preferred QualificationsPreferred Qualifications for Associate Professor:
Meaningful experience living abroad.
Previous tenure at an AACSB-accredited institution for at least 3 years, In good standing at current institution.License or Certification Required? No
Salary Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
