Assistant Superintendent
Choice Property is seeking an experienced, full-time Assistant Superintendent with HUD experience for our Senior Citizen property. This beautiful 98-unit apartment building is located in Burbank. The property has a very low turnover rate and no rent delinquencies.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Assistant Superintendent:
- Residential maintenance experience is required.
- Onesite experience required.
- Handyman or general maintenance experience is required. Construction or contractor experience is a plus.
- Must have skills in repairing and installing faucets, toilets, disposals, stove burners, light fixtures, etc.
- Must have general knowledge of big building systems such as pumps, boilers, HVAC systems, etc.
- Attention to detail, able to identify and diagnose problems or areas requiring repair or replacement.
- Walk and inspect all areas of the property.
- Self-starter with high standards who demonstrates professionalism and can work independently.
- Exceptional customer service and ability to interact with seniors in a positive manner.
- Must be able to work well with vendors.
- Computer skills: Internet and Microsoft Office experience.
- Ability to learn and take direction.
Must meet all physical requirements and be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Must have a credit history that demonstrates sound financial decision-making, responsibility, and reliability.
Background and credit checks will be performed.
