Overview:Are you looking for an assistant Child Care teacher role in a welcoming and exciting intergenerational center?Towerlight Senior Living located in historic St. Louis Park, Minnesota is only 10 minutes from downtown Minneapolis, near public transportation and the crossroads of Highways 7 and 100. Managed by Ebenezer, Towerlight offers breathtakingly appointed units for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and state-of-the art Memory Care and Enhanced Care Suites, and our Intergenerational child care center.We are looking for an Assistant Child Care Teacher to support Ebenezer\xe2\x80\x99s Intergenerational program by caring for and teaching young children in their assigned age group. Early Education Assistants will teach, plan and organize childcare program activities to ensure that the program provides the highest quality childcare available.This position includes:
- 56 hours in two weeks
- Float/Sub teacher
- Monday- Friday, Days

Maintaining a child friendly and orderly classroom
Implementing effective guidance and support strategies
Coordinate and contribute to the teaching team
Supervises health, safety, and overall well being of children at all times
Participates in program areas such as intergeneration activities
Maintaining certification in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, SUIDS/AHT. Qualifications:Minimum EducationHigh school degree- Child Development or Teacher qualified under Minnesota 9503.0032Preferred EducationTwo years full time post-secondary education with 9 quarter or 6 semester early childhood/child psychology or related field coursework.Must meet Department of Human Services Rule 3 assistant teacher qualifications
