Assistant Manager
Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Manager candidate (AM). If you are not familiar with our brand, Gus's is a full service restaurant serving beer and wine, with what is arguably the best fried chicken in the world. We are looking for a passionate candidate that will work to earn these accolades alongside their team, every piece, every time.
We are looking for an organized and goal-oriented Assistant Manager to help oversee the running of our restaurant. To be successful as an AM you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.
Qualified candidates must be charismatic, dependable, and experienced, with natural leadership abilities. They must have a passion for this industry and truly understand customer service.
In addition to earning a salary, there is potential for quarterly bonuses. The AM position requires approximately 50hrs wk +/-.
REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 4 years of management experience in a full service restaurant Working knowledge of all aspects of front and back of the house operations Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire others Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene, and health & safety legislation/guidelines Maintain the highest standards of quality in food as well as service Recruit, develop, and supervise staff Forecast business trends for company operations Review P&L regularly with Regional Operations Manager to ensure that key financial targets (food cost, labor, etc.) are being met Monitor repairs and maintenance issues Monitor morale of the staff and check in with all employees on a regular basis Ensure that food quality and guest experience meet brand standards at all times Ensure compliance with all company standards, and brand standards
