A major regional medical center in Mendocino County in Northern California has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Director.

Reporting to the Director of Intensive Care Unit, the Assistant Nurse Director of Intensive Care Unit will lead clinical and administrative operations in a busy department. Supported by an outstanding CCRN Certified Nursing Manager, two Nurse Supervisors, and an amazing team of Critical Care Staff RNs. The Director will oversee a fast-paced unit with state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive medical and support staff.

The Assistant ICU Nurse Director will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supporting the staff\'s ability to meet patient needs. This will include developing and supporting educational initiatives, serving as a mentor to new leaders, and being a champion for quality improvement throughout the department. The ICU Director will also take on administrative duties in the department, including oversight and maintenance of the budget, recruitment and retention of staff, and this person will oversee operations.
