Prime Choice Funding is looking for an experienced
Operations Manager or Assistant Operations Manager
to oversee our mortgage loan operations, licensing, and compliance while working closely with sales leadership to drive efficiency and support business growth. This role is essential for managing the operational flow, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and external vendors.
, ensuring efficiency and compliance with investor and regulatory guidelines.
Manage
state audits
, including tracking key dates, preparing and submitting required audit documentation, and ensuring timely responses to regulatory agencies.
Maintain and oversee
NMLS licensing
for new hires, including state licensing applications, renewals, and continuing education compliance.
Work with compliance teams to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, maintaining proper documentation and reporting.
Track and manage operational and compliance deadlines, ensuring all required filings and renewals are completed on time.
Vendor & Internal Liaison:
Act as the
primary liaison
between the company and third-party vendors, including licensing agencies, accounting firms, and compliance service providers.
Work closely with
Human Resources
to support new employee onboarding, licensing, and training processes.
Oversee operational
reporting and analytics
, ensuring accurate tracking of performance metrics and workflow efficiency.
Sales & Leadership Support:
Work
hand-in-hand with Sales Leadership
, assisting in managing part of the sales team alongside sales management.
Support sales initiatives by improving operational processes that enhance loan officer productivity and lead conversion.
Provide guidance to sales team members on
file flow, compliance requirements, and operational best practices
.
Develop streamlined workflows to
improve collaboration
between operations, sales, and processing teams.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience in mortgage loan operations
with a strong understanding of loan origination, compliance, and workflow management.
Experience managing
state audits, NMLS licensing, and compliance-related reporting
.
Strong knowledge of
Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
and experience managing operational reporting.
Ability to track and manage important regulatory
deadlines and audits
to ensure full compliance.
Experience working with
licensing agencies, accounting teams, and compliance vendors
.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills to work cross-functionally with sales and operations teams.
