PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Assists the Operations Manager with the supervision and leadership of the operations of the company including personnel, scheduling, logistics, product handling, application services, energy, and customer satisfaction.
SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP
Provides leadership and assists the Operations Manager with the supervision of all company operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Trains, coaches, and counsels employees to effectively develop individual talents and a team of professionals.
Performs order entry in JD Edwards\'s system and processes data entry related to credit status, acknowledgements and product and price verification.
Responsible for filing, initiating, and running reports for work orders.
Leads personnel to follow all safe operating procedures and regulations
Responsible for assistance managing and purchasing all company fixed assets and rolling stock.
Receive purchase orders, initiate transfers, release back orders, edit pick slips, and GERMS clerical.
Responsible for billing, credit rebills and inventory location transfers.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist with quality control and SRC data entry.
Research inventory discrepancies and ensure corrective transactions are made.
Assists Accounts Payable with purchasing invoice issues, cash deposits and export orders.
Follows GROWMARK\'s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires an Associate\'s Degree in agricultural discipline, or the equivalent thereof, and 5 or more years of supervision and agronomy & energy operations related work experience or farming experience to demonstrate knowledge to effectively assist in the management of the assigned facilities and personnel.
Ability to work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant
Must have and maintain a valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.
Prefer an understanding of GROWMARK agronomy and/or energy operations.
