Must hold or be eligible for Delaware Certification in School Administration
Must hold a Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Educational Leadership or related field
Five or more years of successful full-time classroom teaching experience required
Administration Development Program Graduate preferred
Prior experience as a School Administrator/Assistant Principal preferred
Participation in a Teacher Leadership role preferred
Special Education Teacher/Coordinator experience preferred
Criminal Background Check, TB Test, and Child Protection Registry Clearance must be completed prior to start of employment
Employee will be required to work in-person/in the building for this position.
Reports To: Principal
Primary Duties:
Assists in the development, implementation, supervision and evaluation of the instructional programs in assigned areas
Collaborates with the Principal in coordinating all aspects of the school program and related activities
Assumes duties of the principal in his/her absence
Maintains appropriate records
Assists in the implementation and enforcement of district-wide policies and procedures
Provides leadership to staff and students in the maintenance of a safe, clean and orderly school facility
Works with the Principal in providing instructional leadership
Performs other duties as assigned
Terms of Employment:
Twelve-month year. Salary and working conditions established by the Board of Education
Evaluation:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Principal
